Healthcare Trustees of New York State 30th Annual Conference

September 24-26, 2010
Bolton Landing, NY

The Sagamore Inn

Healthcare Trustees of New York State (HTNYS) is pleased to present its 2010 Annual Conference, celebrating 30 years of providing the best in advocacy and education to our members.

This year’s Conference will offer health care leaders an opportunity to learn the latest health care and governance trends, network with colleagues, and develop new leadership strengths to navigate the unique challenges of health care reform, a difficult economy, and mounting consumer and regulatory demands for transparency and quality.

Please plan to join us for an informative and enjoyable Conference at The Sagamore in the beautiful Adirondacks.

Who should attend

The Conference is designed for health care trustees, executives, and others on the front lines of change in the evolving health care environment.

The Sagamore Hotel Accommodations

Please click here to make your hotel accommodations. Refer to group number 51K50M to receive the conference room rate. The deadline to use HANYS' room block rate is August 23.

Please note the Sagamore's reservation/cancellation policy. A credit card is required to confirm each reservation. A non-refundable $35 processing fee will be charged at time of booking. The balance of the stay will be charged 14 days prior to arrival date. Should the reservation be canceled more than 14 days prior to arrival the $35 processing fee will be forfeited. If the cancellation is made 14 days or less from arrival, the total amount will be forfeited. In the event you do not arrive on scheduled arrival date, your reservation will be canceled and the amount collected will be forfeited.

A Note About The Sagamore’s “Wait List”
Typically, a large influx of members attempt to reserve Sagamore accommodations as soon as registration opens. The Sagamore staff will sometimes temporarily stop taking reservations because they need time to assess what rooms are still available. During these times, you may be told that there is a “wait list” for hotel rooms when, in fact, there may still be rooms available. In the event the hotel block does become fully booked, there is still a good chance that rooms will open up due to cancellations before the Conference. Most people who are placed on a wait list are eventually given a room (although we cannot guarantee it). Therefore, we strongly suggest you join the wait list if asked to do so.

Alternate Accommodations
There are numerous Adirondack-style motels along Route 9N for participants who do not wish to stay at The Sagamore. Visit either www.boltonchamber.com/bolton-landing-lodging.asp or www.lakegeorge.com/Guide/Lodging_BoltonLanding.cfm for more information.

Conference Registration/Cancellation

The registration deadline for the Conference is September 17.

Conference registrations cancelled after September 9 are subject to a $50 administrative charge. Registration fees are forfeited for those canceling on the day of the program or who fail to attend. Substitutions are permitted and encouraged, but should be indicated either before or at the Conference.
