Auxiliary Advocacy Recognition Applications Still Being Accepted

The deadline has been extended to January 16 for auxiliaries wishing to apply for the 2007 HANYS Auxiliary Advocacy Recognition. The Recognition acknowledges member auxiliaries that have committed time and effort toward shaping the future of New York State’s health care system by serving as health care advocates. This will be the 16th year that HANYS has presented the certificates to eligible auxiliaries; more than 70 auxiliaries were recognized last year. Recipients of the award will be publicly recognized in a statewide press release, on HANYS’ Web site, and at the 2008 Institute for Health Care Auxiliaries.
