Healthcare Trustees of New York State (HTNYS) and the Western New York Healthcare Association (WNYHA) invite member trustees and senior leaders to a dinner program, The Public’s Right to Know: Your New Federal Responsibilities as a Board Member, to be held July 29.

The Internal Revenue Service has issued the final draft of its revisions to Form 990, including a new Schedule H, which outlines how tax-exempt hospitals must report their policies and activities to assist patients and their communities. This presentation will highlight the major changes to Form 990 and inform trustees about what they need to know to fulfill their new federal responsibilities as board members. The program will be held at the Orchard Park Country Club from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Registration must be received by July 23. For more information or to register, contact Barbara Brooks, Executive Assistant, WNYHA, at (716) 512-7107. - Sue Ellen Wagner
